I'm not picky about which software, as long as one of them works, and I don't have to type it into the terminal every time I want to make a disc. I've tried two different USB 3.0 ports, so should have enough power. Brasero and Xfburn just hang and sit there doing nothing. When trying to burn mp3 files, K3b gives the error code contained at the end of this post. Even when I try to play an audio CD that I KNOW has audio on it, it shows up as blank media. I've scoured the forums and installed multiple varieties of codecs which eliminated the Mp3 error message in K3b, but there is still an OCP error.Ĭurrently, I've been able to successfully see that a DVD contains episodes of a tv show, but VLC will not play anything. For varying reasons, none will burn an audio disc. I don't know if I received a faulty unit, or if I just don't know what I'm doing, but I've tried k3b, brasero, xfburn and simple burn.
